For several years, there has been an informal group of palliative medicine physicians, who work in hospitals and in hospices, that have gathered. Seeing the rise of other local and state groups for palliative medicine doctors, we were inspired to do something more formal and make a broader impact outside of the care we deliver each day.
Our Mission
to enhance and support the practice of palliative medicine for physicians in the Kansas City metropolitan area through education, collaboration, advocacy, and shared activities.
