If you are interested in being a board member we are always open to having new ideas. You are welcome to run for any of the positions, President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Board member at large. All are open for competition. There are vacancies in both the board member at large and the secretary seats currently.

If you would like to know more about the role of each, please reach out to Rick Butin or Christian Sinclair or other past board members. Overall it takes 2-8 hours per month, including meetings, depending on how much you want to put into it. Board members are expected to be able to make it to nearly all of the KCSPM meetings, and to take responsibility for the financial and tax related items. We have a good system for this thanks to our first president Pam Harris, and so it is relatively straight forward and you will be supported.
