This is not a KCSPM supported event but would be of interest to the KCSPM membership. St. Luke’s is hosting the biennial Spirit-Filled Care Conference on Oct 18th at the Naitonal World War I Museum.
The event features nationally-known speaker Dr. B.J. Miller, a hospice and palliative care physician whose 2015 TED Talk, "What Really Matters at the End of Life," has inspired the care industry to redesign the way we approach death. He has been featured in interviews with Oprah Winfrey, the New York Times, and other well-known media.
Continuing Education credits available. Your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch. This event is ideal for hospice staff, social workers, counselors, clergy, nurses, and funeral directors. Presented by Saint Luke's Home Care & Hospice and Saint Luke's Foundation.
